Welcome to the Shrewsbury Strikers Website!

Shrewsbury Strikers is a social gathering of people who enjoy ten-pin bowling taking part in a singles league. The league takes place

at 7.45pm on Tuesdays nights at Hollywood Bowl in Harlescott, Shrewsbury.

The league was formed in August 2013 by Paul Williams, John Plumridge & Darren Milner with the aim to increase

the number of people participating in bowling as a competitive sport within Shropshire. We have seen over 100 different players take part to date.

We play 3 games a week on a handicapped scoring system. Players are awarded points based on order of merit each week.

The league table is compiled over a 22 week period based on an individuals best 12 scores from 22 weeks.

The league caters for an extremely wide range of playing levels, with averages ranging from mid 60's up to 200+.

Fun and social interaction is openly encouraged but those who like that competitive edge are also welcome.
